An Organized Moms Approach Taming Paper

In the Homeschool Classroom

A Moms Organizational Approach

Even though we live in the digital age, paperwork still abounds in our homes. If we aren’t careful the paper can become an overwhelming beast creating clutter everywhere we look. As homemakers we are responsible for the cleanliness of our homes. Whether we use outside help or not the buck stops with the homemaker.

When we maintain a home that is clean, we can be assured that we bring honor to our husbands. We need not fear when visitors stop in, we can simply rest in the knowledge that all is well. Allowing the paper to become a source of overwhelming mess can make it difficult to maintain a restful place to dwell.

Proverbs 12:4

“An excellent wife is the crown of her husband,
But she who causes shame is like rottenness in his bones.”

But what if our home serves multiple purposes? Many families have fathers or even mothers who work inside the home and business paperwork becomes the norm around the place. By the same token many families are now homeschooling and with that comes a lot of daily paperwork produced by both the homeschool teacher and the homeschool student.

Sam Kelly is a wife to one of the brotherhoods evangelists, and she is also a work outside the home mom as well as a homeschool teacher to 6 children. With 6 blessings in the homeschool room the paperwork is multiplied 6 times. But she has worked out a system to keep it all straight.

Sam shares her tips Homeschool Organization on a vlog she posted ealier this year.

Taming Homeschool Paperwork

Much can be learned from Sam’s approach to organizing the homeschool classroom.

I think the biggest thing is to find a system that is manageable and then determine to maintain your plan. This can be true of organizing any paperwork that just happens to come into the home.

SamSam is one of the R16:16 team members helping us keep things running behind the scenes. She also is wife to Rick and as stated in the article, homeschooling mom to 6 wonderful blessings. You can read all of Sam’s posts on her personal blog, Sam’s Noggin.
